The Center Overview

Guangzhou International Purchasing Center is located on Pazhou Island in Haizhu, Guangzhou, adjacent to Hall B of the Guangzhou Pazhou Exhibition Center. It covers a building area of 258,000 m². The Pazhou International Procurement Center is situated on the southeast side of Guangzhou on Pazhou Island and occupies a total land area of approximately 110,000 m² with a total construction area of 250,000 m² (170,000 m² above ground). The center is divided into two sections: the east wing features an 18-story building with a podium (floors 1–4, 6 m high, 18 m span, about 12,000 m² per floor) and a tower (floors 5–18, 4 m high, 18 m span, about 42,000 m² per floor), while the west wing offers a large self-owned rental exhibition hall of 65,000 m². The basement level spans 80,000 m², including a 40,000 m² business support center, logistics area, catering and equipment facilities, underground exhibition halls, and a parking lot for 1,000 vehicles. The dedicated logistics zone in the basement accommodates dozens of large trucks simultaneously, with the podium equipped with 6 freight elevators, 8 passenger elevators, and 2 pairs of escalators per floor, and the tower with 8 passenger elevators, 2 freight elevators, and one pair of escalators connecting all floors. The center supports the “Belt and Road” initiative by providing domestic and international SMEs with a comprehensive platform for display, communication, trade, and cooperation.
