Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center is located at 100 Huizhan Street and stands as a landmark of Changchun City, characterized by its unique and innovative architectural design and modern facilities. Jointly funded by the Changchun municipal government and the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone with an investment of 1.72 billion RMB, the center was designed by the Tsinghua Design Institute and constructed in May 2000, opening in August 2001.
Situated in the southeast part of the city within the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone, the center is conveniently located near the Jing-Ha and Ji-Chang expressways, the scenic 4A-level Jingyuetan Forest Park, and the renowned Changying Century City, known as the “Eastern Hollywood.” It is bordered by the circular Yitong River to the west, Freedom Road which runs through the city from east to west to the north, and connected to the city’s light rail line to the south. It is 12.8 kilometers from the Changchun Railway Station and 20 kilometers from Changchun Longjia International Airport, offering convenient transportation and a picturesque environment.
The center integrates exhibition, conference, trade, tourism, dining, accommodation, sports events, and entertainment. It covers an area of 640,000 square meters with a building area of 194,000 square meters. The center is fully equipped and capable of hosting large international exhibitions and national trade fairs. It features nine exhibition halls, numbered 1 through 9, offering a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters capable of accommodating 5,000 international standard booths. Additionally, there is an outdoor exhibition area of 15,500 square meters, a ceremony square of 6,000 square meters, and a 90,000 square meter parking lot that can accommodate over 3,000 vehicles.
