The Center Overview

Shougang Park, spanning 8.63 km² in Beijing, is a prime example of industrial revitalization and urban renewal. Strategically located at the intersection of Chang’an Avenue’s western extension and the Yongding River Green Corridor, the park is well-connected via Metro Line 11, the S1 Maglev Line, and the New Shougang Bridge. Once a major steel production site, it has now become a center for high-end industries, cultural innovation, and sustainable development, earning recognition as China’s first C40 Net-Zero Climate Model Area.

Since hosting the 2022 Winter Olympics, Shougang Park has emerged as a global hub for sports, technology, and cultural events. The Big Air Shougang venue, where Eileen Gu and Su Yiming won gold medals, is now a world-class sports landmark.
